OpenAI CEO Sam Altman confirmed today that not only is a GPT-5 on the way but that it will include the reasoning model and will be FREE to use.
Sam confirmed that not only are we getting a GPT-4.5 model (previously known as Orion) but going forward all OpenAI models after this will be fully integrated into the larger main model. This means we wont get be getting o3 as a stand-along product but it prob means timelines are moved up across the board.
This is a big deal. And yes, we made an entire video about a tweet but, you know, sometimes it deserves it.
