NVIDIA’s new Dr. Eureka is an AI robotic learning algorithm that allows it to bring simulated learning to the real world and it kind of blew our minds.
The train the robot in simulated environments to walk over various sorts of terrain and in this instance on a yoga ball, which as humans know, is difficult.
Because it’s practiced so much in that environment, it’s able to be much better IRL right away and this opens the door for robots to get much better, much faster at many tasks.
