Midjourney 6 is out and swirling with controversy. There’s a ton of issues around IP and how the model was originally trained on artists but maybe the most interesting thing is exactly how good it’s getting at generating pictures of people that are not only high quality but exceptionally believable.
This is being called "fauxtorealism" on Reddit and other places for just how close it's starting to look to actual reality.
